How to Use the Shopping Cart
(how to place items in cart, view cart, and finish your order)

PLEASE NOTE: When you choose the type of delivery (UPS Ground, UPS Second Day or UPS Next Day) YOU MUST CLICK ON "SUBMIT YOUR CHOICE" TO CONTINUE.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart:
To add an item to your shopping cart, look for the white field (located on each product page) like this. Insert the quantity of the item you want in the field and click on the "Add to your Shopping Cart" Button (pictured below).

Viewing the Items in Your Cart:
To View what you have added to your shopping cart, click on the "View Your Shopping Cart" Button (pictured below).

How to Finish your Order:
After you're done adding items and would like to finish your order, click on the "Go To Checkout Now" Button (pictured below).

From the Checkout Menu, you can either order through Secure E-mail On-line, by fax or by postal mail.

To Order On-Line with your Credit Card: Click the 'Order By Credit Card Online' button, proceed to fill out the billing information and then submit it.

To Order by Fax: Click on the 'Order by Credit Card Using Fax' button, fill out the necessary information, and submit the form. This will return a clean form with your order that you can print, then fax to: (302) 227-5292.

To Order by Postal Mail: Click on either the 'Order by Check through Postal Mail' or 'Order by Credit Card through Postal Mail' button, fill out all necessary information, and then submit it. This will also return a clean, printable form containing your order and information. Print the form out and mail it to:

GIFT CERTIFICATE:
Captain's Cottage is pleased to offer a gift certificate which will be sent with your card.

EXCHANGES & RETURNS:
To exchange or return any purchase within 14 days with which you are not completely satisfied, please:

  • Contact customer service at 1-877-333-1967
  • Merchandise must be returned in original packaging.
  • Return your purchase with a copy of your bill by U.P.S. or U.S. Mail. For your protection, insure your package.
  • You may make another selection or have your money completely refunded.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.

Please Note: Because our LAMPS require special packaging, they may not be returned.

The pricing shown in our catalog is in U.S. Currency. Prices are subject to change.

SPECIAL NOTE ON GOODS DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT:
Be sure to inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives! If the product has been damaged during shipment, you must contact us IMMEDIATELY (within 24 hours), as the shipper has only a limited time to make a claim to the delivery company.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY:
Most items are in stock and will be shipped in 4-6 business days. If an item is on back-order, please allow 2-4 weeks for shipment. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you by e-mail of the estimated shipping date. You may cancel your order at anytime prior to shipping, or inquire about your order status by sending an e-mail. To keep prices as low as possible, some products are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer. Delivery for those items may take four to twelve weeks. In this case, you will receive an order confirmation and your account will not be charged until the product is shipped. Also, not all of our merchandise is shown on-line. If you don't see what you want, please call to see if we have it.
